Ceramic fiber board

Using hard clay clinker, coke stone and alumina silica powder as raw materials, ceramic fiber products are melted in a resistance furnace, blown or flung into fiber cotton, and then made via processes like needle punching, heat -setting, cutting and rolling. They feature a regular size, flat surface, low thermal conductivity and heat capacity, no binding agents, good thermal stability,sound -absorption and shock-resistance.

What Our Clients Say

Rajiv Singh, India (Steel Industry)
Your ceramic fiber blankets in our furnaces cut energy use by 55%. Faster heat-up, less maintenance—our plant’s efficiency jumped. We’re sticking with your team.
lisa, American (cement plant)
The initial investment is indeed 3% - 5% higher, but considering a 30% annual energy saving, you can recoup your costs within 3 to 6 months. Over the next 5 years, you can save millions in energy and maintenance costs.
jike, Africa (paper mill)
Tailored solutions for different parts of the kiln: Our Ceramic Fiber PLUS blanket is used to fit the curved surface of the vault, nano-pore insulation boards are used on the bottom of the pool to enhance pressure resistance, and ceramic fiber cotton is used to fill complex corners and edges. The installation is light and does not increase the load on the kiln body.
sheng, Türkiye (glass-ceramic)
The ceramic fiber blanket is lightweight and can be cut to size. We will provide detailed installation drawings. Your factory workers, just 1-2 people, can handle it. Unlike traditional materials, it doesn't require complex fixation procedures.
How to Choose the Right Density for Ceramic fiber board
Three key principles for selection (avoiding pitfalls)
1. Match density according to usage temperature
Temperature ≤ 1000 ℃: Priority should be given to selecting 200-280kg/m ³, taking into account both insulation and economy;
Temperature range of 1000-1300 ℃: recommended 280-350kg/m ³, balancing high temperature stability and insulation efficiency;
Temperature>1300 ℃ or short-term high temperature impact: Choose 350-450kg/m ³ to ensure that the material does not shrink or fall off.
2. Judging based on the force situation
Just need insulation, no stress: choose 200-240kg/m ³ (such as filling, back insulation);
Under slight pressure or airflow erosion: choose 280-300kg/m ³ (such as ordinary kiln lining);
Load bearing, impact resistant or strong erosion resistant: choose 300kg/m ³ or above (such as furnace doors, kiln car platforms).
3. Combining construction and cost optimization
Large area laying, requiring cutting and splicing: choose 240-280kg/m ³, flexible construction and controllable cost;
Irregular structure, customized size: medium to high density (280-350kg/m ³) has better processing performance and is not easily damaged;
Long term use (≥ 5 years): High density boards are preferred to reduce maintenance and replacement costs in the later stages.
Application scenarios of ceramic fiberboard
Industrial kiln wall lining, masonry insulation layer;
Insulation and heat preservation for high temperature and high heat equipment;
Aerospace and shipbuilding industry insulation, fire prevention, sound insulation, and insulation;
The kiln lining, kiln car, furnace door baffle, and furnace temperature partition of high-temperature kilns;
What are the classifications of ceramic fiberboard

Classification of Ceramic Fiber Boards: Using corresponding ordinary, standard, high-purity, and zirconium containing aluminum silicate fiber cotton as raw materials, adding a certain proportion of binders and filler grade additives, fully reacting, and then drying and machining using vacuum forming or drying processes. After forming, the fiberboard is dried, and the dried fiberboard is accurately controlled in size through specialized grinding and trimming machines.
