How to install the cubic ceramic fiber module? Ceramic fiber modules, as an efficient insulation material, are widely used in industrial furnaces, heat treatment equipment and other fields. The installation process requires both fine operation to ensure sealing and consideration of thermal expansion coefficient to maintain long-term stability. The cubic ceramic fiber module is a commonly used material for industrial furnace lining insulation and refractory. The installation core relies on anchoring, laying in sequence, and gap treatment. The overall process is simple and requires attention to detail.
There are three main installation methods for ceramic fiber modules, namely conventional installation method, floor installation method, and installation method with flat carpet.
Installation method for laying ceramic fiber modules:
1. First laying positioning
Starting from one corner or side of the furnace body, align the reserved anchor hole of the first ceramic fiber module with the anchor on the substrate, insert the module and gently press it to make the module tightly adhere to the substrate.
2. Sequential splicing installation
Lay the subsequent modules in order from bottom to top and left to right, with adjacent modules tightly connected. The concave and convex grooves (if any) of the modules should be interlocked to reduce gaps.
During the installation process, use a wrench to tighten the anchor piece or nut, firmly fix the module on the substrate, and pay attention to moderate force to avoid crushing the module.
3. Edge and corner cutting processing
When encountering irregular parts such as furnace corners and pipes, use a cutting machine to cut the module according to the actual size, ensuring that the cut module fits tightly with the surrounding area and the cutting edge needs to be flat.
Precautions for Ceramic Fiber Modules:
Installation personnel should wear protective gloves and masks to avoid inhaling ceramic fiber dust into the body.
During module installation, it is strictly prohibited to strike vigorously to prevent damage to the fiber structure and affect the insulation and fire resistance effect.
High temperature adhesives should be used according to the instructions, and the construction environment temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃ to avoid adhesive failure.
The first heating of the furnace body should follow the principle of “slow heating”, gradually increasing to the working temperature to prevent the module from cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction.
